WITNESS SLIPS It's very important to get involved with BILLS and have a voice as an American citizen. There are several websites, so it will be best to do a search for "How to fill out a Witness Slip" and go from there.

My greatest "Priority" is to keep you informed

What citizens do NOT know about "Elections" - Candidates are protected by the 1st Amendment

Many Americans do not know that a Candidate and their volunteers canvassing your area and coming to your home to inform you about the election, help you to understand how to get registered to vote, give you information about the Candidate running for office or just simply talking to you about issues you may feel are important, is protected by the 1st Amendment - Freedom of Speech.  Campaigning door to door does NOT fall under the title of "Solicitation" as many Americans think it does.

In 1943, the US Supreme Court ruled on a case, Martin v City of Struthers, and affirmed that cities CANNOT pass municipal ordinances restricting an individual's right to knock on doors or ring doorbells for the purpose of distributing political materials.

I hope this helps. If they come to your door, just show some kindness.  If you are not interested, just kindly tell them that. Don't be angry at them.  They will politely leave.  WE ARE AMERICANS FIRST! No more hate.
